Fare ATC is an independent online flight booking brand, operating under the ownership of Plane to Paradise LLC. We manage and maintain our own airfare inventory using a contracted feed from the Global Distribution System (GDS). All confirmed flight bookings are fulfilled through licensed and authorized third-party travel suppliers, who issue airline tickets on our behalf in accordance with formal agreements.

Fare ATC is not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline, and all services are provided as a neutral fare distribution platform.

1. General Refund Overview

All fares offered by Fare ATC are dynamic, meaning that availability, pricing, and fare conditions are controlled in real-time by the underlying airline systems accessed through GDS. Fare ATC, as a fare manager, is bound by the fare rules defined at the time of booking, and cannot override or amend these rules once a ticket is issued.

We strongly advise all customers to review applicable fare rules, refundability terms, and change restrictions before completing a booking.

2. Non-Refundable Fare Policy

Most of the flight tickets managed through Fare ATC are strictly non-refundable, unless specified otherwise during booking. Once a ticket is issued through our supplier network, it is governed by the airline’s fare rules and the conditions accepted at the time of purchase.

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Voluntary cancellations for personal or scheduling reasons
  • Name misspellings not detected prior to ticketing
  • Visa denials, travel documentation issues, or boarding refusals
  • No-shows, missed flights, or delayed check-ins
  • Duplicate or conflicting bookings made by the customer
  • Fare increases after the booking is finalized
  • Medical or personal emergencies (unless covered by airline policy)

Fare ATC shall not be liable for refunding any portion of the fare in these situations.

3. U.S. DOT 24-Hour Refund Exception

Fare ATC honors the U.S. Department of Transportation’s 24-hour refund regulation for flights originating in the U.S., provided all the following conditions are met:

  • The reservation is made at least 7 days before departure, and
  • The refund request is received within 24 hours of booking, and
  • The ticket has not yet been issued through our supplier

If a ticket has already been issued and/or the airline system does not support auto-voiding within this window, Fare ATC will not be able to cancel or refund without airline approval.

4. Airline-Initiated Cancellations

If your flight is cancelled by the airline or there is a major schedule change that makes travel impossible, Fare ATC will assist you in filing a refund request with the airline or issuing supplier.

Refunds in these cases are:

  • Subject to airline approval
  • Based on the terms set by the issuing carrier and GDS system
  • Processed only once airline funds are returned to the supplier and reconciled

Please note: Service fees charged by Fare ATC are non-refundable, even in cases of airline-initiated cancellations.

5. Partial Refunds or Travel Credits

In select scenarios, partial refunds or travel credits may be offered if permitted by the airline. Such outcomes depend entirely on:

  • The fare class purchased
  • Airline policies at the time of cancellation
  • Supplier settlement procedures

Fare ATC does not control the outcome or timing of partial refunds or credit issuance.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • It may take 10–14 business days (or longer in some airline cases) for processing through the GDS and ARC/IATA settlement system
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking
  • Fare ATC will notify customers upon confirmation of refund from the supplier or airline

We are not responsible for banking or card issuer delays once the refund is processed on our side.

7. Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to:

Important: Refund requests must include the passenger name(s), booking reference, and a clear explanation of the reason for the request.

We do not process refund claims over phone or chat.

8. Disputes & Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Fare ATC is considered a breach of our terms and an abuse of the payment process.

In the event of a chargeback:

  • We will provide documentation of fare rules, call logs, booking consent, and GDS records to the payment processor
  • We reserve the right to pursue recovery through collections if the dispute is found invalid
  • Access to Fare ATC may be permanently revoked for abusive behavior

9. Limitation of Responsibility

Fare ATC acts solely as a fare distributor and booking facilitator. We are not responsible for:

  • Decisions made by the airline, including boarding denials or involuntary changes
  • Quality of travel experience or baggage handling
  • Delays, overbooking, cancellations, or airline bankruptcy
  • Immigration issues or failure to meet travel requirements

10. Agreement to Policy

By booking through www.fare-atc.com, you acknowledge that:

  • You are using an independent platform that manages its own fares through a contracted GDS system
  • Refunds are strictly governed by fare rules and third-party supplier terms
  • All sales are final unless a refund is clearly permitted by the fare class or airline
  • Pricing, availability, and refund eligibility are subject to real-time changes beyond Fare ATC’s control
